The Unexpected Road That Leads To A Greater Glory

The Invisible, Unknown And Unexpected Road That Leads To A Greater Glory

Pursuit Of Glory

Genesis 1:31: At the end of all creation ‘God saw everything he had made and behold it was very good. Yet in the beginning, when he started that creation project, the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the earth. God has his way of making something out of nothing. When God promise Abraham that he will made him the father of all nation, it look almost impossible with the road God was taking him through. It was a road that leads to A Greater Glory

Romans 4:17 “That is what the Scriptures mean when they say that God made Abraham the father of many nations. God will accept all people in every nation who trust God as Abraham did. And this promise is from God himself, who makes the dead live again and speaks of future events with as much certainty as though they were already past.”

The path was unknown

It was journey of which the condition along the path was unknown to Abraham. God will bring the future to your very eyes. It will only take a man of faith to go on this journey. This is simply because the conditions on the path to destiny is not often declare. God does not say everything in one day. It will take a daily walk with Him in order for a man to know clearly. Knowing clearly what it will take to arrive a particular destination of A Greater Glory. Sometime he does not even say a thing at all, But the most importing thing is your trust in him. walk with him in this journey.

Romans 4:18 So, when God told Abraham that he would give him a son who would have many descendants and become a great nation, Abraham believed God even though such a promise just couldn’t come to pass! 19 And because his faith was strong, he didn’t worry about the fact that he was too old to be a father at the age of one hundred, and that Sarah his wife, at ninety, was also much too old to have a baby. 20 But Abraham never doubted. He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger, and he praised God for this blessing even before it happened. 21 He was completely sure that God was well able to do anything he promised.

God could tell you were he is taking you to, without always saying how he will get you there.

God declare in Jeremiah 29:11  that “I will bless you with a future filled with hope-a future of success, not of suffering (CEV)”. But he did not declare how he is going to take you in this great future of A Greater Glory . God will often tell you where he is taking you to, but not always how he will take you there. Here is A biblical example of a man who understood where God want him to be. this Man was Joseph but He don’t know how God intent him to reach that place.

Pictorial representation of Contending for the faith

Ps 105:17-23:

He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold as a servant. [Gen 45:5; 50:20,21.]  18 His feet they hurt with fetters; he was laid in chains of iron and his soul entered into the iron, 19 Until his word [to his cruel brothers] came true, until the word of the Lord tried and tested him. 20 The king sent and loosed him, even the ruler of the peoples, and let him go free. 21 He made Joseph lord of his house and ruler of all his substance, [Gen 41:40.] 22 To bind his princes at his pleasure and teach his elders wisdom. 23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. [Gen 46:6.]

Joseph saw A Greater Glory in His dream. God did not tell him that it would take a lot of trouble to transport him there. Had it been Joseph had an an idea, then The whole project would have been jeopardized. Jeopardized the ignoble ‘chariot’ of shame by which he was to reach his enviable throne of praise. Had Joseph known the rough and long road to the throne, he may have shut his mouth. In the process shutting His mouth, he would have shut the passage to the throne.

He may never use your method

God will surely do it right as you walk with him. the only thing is that He may never use your method. In     John 11:21-22 Martha said to Jesus, “Sir, if you had been here, my brother wouldn’t have died. Martha knows a method but Jesus had chosen a different plan and method. He will certainly take you there, the bright future he promised, but he may never pass you usual routes. He will drive you safely home only if you will leave the steering wheels in his almighty hands.

So often at the close of the year, many put on a worrying eyes, seeing that He hasn’t done it yet. The truth is that he has long begun; He merely has not finished yet. The end of month or the end of a year is not the end of your life. Your life is rule by His calendar and not the calendar. That have not arrived at the close of the year does not mean that you have not taken off yet. God will surely take you safely there and on time.
